Tool Shed is proud to have received a RACC Professional Development Grant for July - Dec '09. This grant award, in the amount of $1000, is for the following purpose:
 - To conduct craft demonstrations in the Portland/Multnomah area
- For the development of web and print materials for Tool Shed's class offerings
- To promote craft!
 
Our first sponsored demonstration will be a tall-bike building event at this year's Tour de Fat at Waterfront Park, August 15th, 2009. The burly boys of the Northfreak Bicycle Club will be building tall bikes with materials and tools provided by Tool Shed.
 
The second demonstration will be at First Thursday in September (9/3/09), where we will be doing open-faced liquid aluminum pours in downtown Portland.
